Bain ConstanceBAIN, Constance "Connie" Evelyn (nee TOWERS)  - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Connie, in her 92nd year, on September 5, 2018 at St. Joseph's Villa in Sudbury, Ontario.

She was predeceased by her husband Douglas in 2008 and brother Ron in 2006.

Connie was the eldest child of Leonard and Nellie Towers of Sudbury.

She is survived by sister Carol Weatherly of Hollister, California and brother Brian Towers of Simcoe, Ontario.

Mom will be greatly missed by her children, Martin (Linda Darling), Mary (David Cornthwaite) and Michael (Indira Simbhunauth), as well as grandchildren Laura, Steven, Jennifer, Alison, Jeffrey, Scott and Hailey and 11 great-grandchildren.

Connie will be remembered as a very kind and generous mother and friend.

Mom enjoyed the outdoors and created wonderful flower gardens wherever she lived. She loved watching the birds and butterflies as they flitted through her gardens and made sure the bird feeders were always full.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto or to a favorite charity.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Lakeview Wing of St. Joseph's Villa and the medical professionals at Health Sciences North for their kind and compassionate care over these recent years.
