CAMPBELL, David Milton - C.M. - Peacefully at home on September 13, 2018, David M. Campbell age 98.

Born May 23rd, 1920. He is survived by his loving wife of 76 years Vivian (Rothbart) Campbell.

Father and Father in law to Henry, (fiancee to Barbara Hersh) and the late Vicki z'l, Barry and Debra, Jeffrey and Lesley.

Pre-deceased by his beloved sister, Dorothy Lecker.

Grandfather of Jonathan, Leanne, Elliot and Lavanya. Jordan, Richard, Corey, Matthew and Lauren, and Jeremy and Marisa and great- grandfather to Neela, and Sahana.

Born in Fredericton, raised in Montreal and proud, long time resident of Toronto, he lived a full life in business, as an innovator and trail blazer and took great joy from his involvement in the community (The Toronto Symphony, the University of Toronto, Massey College, The Munk School of Global Affairs, Baycrest, The Art Gallery of Ontario, The Weitzman Institute of Science, Mt Sinai Hospital, The University Health Network, the Winter Garden Theatre, the Music Garden, University of New Brunswick)

He engaged all with his energy, wisdom and generosity.

The family are forever grateful to the team of caregivers led by Mila Mesa, Maggie Ramos, Ofelia Garvida, Rovelyn Mesa, Josie Malab, Janette Laguisan, Joy Galarce, Criselie Mistica who have been caring for our parents with love and devotion. Thanks also to Janet Robertson and to Dr Bernie Gosevitz.

Service at Beth Shalom Synagogue 1445 Eglinton Ave West at Atlas Avenue on Friday September 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Shiva at 619 Avenue Road. Shiva visits Sunday and Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Baycrest Foundation or Art Gallery of Ontario.
