FLECK, Rolf Mathias - It is with great sadness that his wife, children and grandchildren announce the passing of Mr. Rolf Mathias Fleck in Toronto on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the age of 75 years.
Surrounded by the love and support of his family, he passed away at home as he wished. In spite of his struggle with cancer over the last two years, he demonstrated courage and a strong will to fully enjoy the smallest and the greatest moments that life has to offer with his family and dear friends. We are deeply grateful and cherish the time we had with our beloved Papilousse as he will continue to guide us and provide us with memories of a truly joyful and fulfilled life.
He is survived by his wife Christiane (née Morgenstern), his children Laurent (Vidya), Andréanne (Yukihiro) and Matthieu (Michele), his grandchildren Julien, Noa, Etienne, Amélie, Mélodie, Geneviève and Tristan.
Predeceased by his brother Henri (d.2015), he was also the beloved brother of Monique (Juergen), Charles (Renée), Babette and will be missed by his nephews, nieces, as well as his dear long-time friends and neighbours.
Family and friends are invited to join usat the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, Markham between 7 pm and 9 pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 to share their memories. The celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, from 11 am to noon in the chapel where we will gather to pray for the repose of his soul.
