Pooler JanePOOLER, D. Jane (nee Gleeny)  -  Died peacefully at North York General Hospital, Toronto on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the age of 92.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ted.

Survived by Ted’s children: Bruce (Katharine) and Janet Louvel (George) and grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother Dr. Andrew Glenny (Susan) and his children: Robert (Lucinda), Martha McElweenie (Steve), Andrew, and Beth (David Parker), and their children.

Jane’s early career as an occupational therapist was very important to her, enabling WWII veterans to lead happy and productive lives, and she formed long lasting friendships with a number of them.  Jane and Ted travelled extensively and had many adventures.  During this time Jane developed her artistic skills with wonderful watercolour paintings which she shared with family and friends.  She had great fashion sense, and was a lover of opera, ballet, theatre and golf.

She was fortunate and very appreciative to have had the companionship and support of her nephew Robert and her cousin Mary Elizabeth Harris after Ted passed away. Jane’s family is very appreciative of the caring shown by the physicians and staff at the North York General Hospital.

Private family arrangements.
