LeFroy HelenLEFROY, Helen LeFroy (nee Mullin)  -  (1929 - 2018)  -  Passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

Predeceased by her loving husband Gordon.

Survived by her 3 children: Bob, Judy (Dan) and Jim (Louise).

She will be missed by her grandchildren: Steve (Natalie) and Jennifer; and her great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Taya.

Helen’s parents were the children of Irish Immigrants who resided in Northern Ontario. Helen, her sister Blanche and brother Morris grew up in Toronto but there was always time spent in Northern Ontario, in the outdoors, with family and extended relatives. She met her lifelong loving husband Gord in Toronto and they raised their family in Scarborough. Helen cherished being around friends, on Jeffton Crescent, who were her extended family. Activities always included their friends. Everything from … the bowling league; to picnics; to camping vacations and trips to Myrtle Beach. She always loved bringing people together. We will miss her loving smile and blue eyes.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at McDougall & Brown funeral home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road (just east of St. Clair Ave. E.) on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 12 p.m. (visitation one hour prior from 11a.m. – 12p.m.)  Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Sunrise Youth Group  (sunriseyouthgroup.ca) would be appreciated by the family.
