JAVIER, Rosalinda Cerrudo - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosalinda Cerrudo Javier. Rosalinda died peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a brave fight with cancer on September 18, 2018.
Rosalinda is survived by Felino, her loving husband of 45 years.
Loving mother of Lin Barbara (Michael Dickinson) and Lin Antonette (Michael Rogers).
Loving Aunt and second mother to Charles (Susan) and Steven (Joanne). She was the proud grandmother of Aiden, Jack, Aaron and William.
She will be missed by her surviving siblings Rebecca (Manuel), Robert (Lina), Rosita (Relly) and Fiena.
She will be greeted in heaven by her siblings Romeo, Henrietta, and parents Antonina and Filomeno.
Rosalinda will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many students from over 35 years of teaching. Her presence in the Fil-Can community will also be greatly missed as a founding member and former long-time President of the Filipino Centre of Toronto.
Visitation will be held at Scott funeral home, Mississauga Chapel, 420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, on Friday September 21st, from 3pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass at St. Mary Star of The Sea Catholic Church, 11 Peter, Mississauga, on Saturday September 22nd at 11:30 am. Interment Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville.
