Nettleton AudreyNETTLETON, Audrey (nee ADAMS)  - Born January 27, 1933 in Toronto, Ontario.

Died peacefully September 19, 2018, in her 86th year.

After a lifetime of dedicated and selfless servanthood, Audrey accepted her final challenge of an aggressive sarcoma and died peacefully enveloped in the love of her extended family.

Audrey faced her approaching death as she conducted her life: with an indefatigable spirit and great faith, sharing stories and asking for updates on her grandchildren, cousins and friends.

Audrey was a beloved and devoted wife to Tom Nettleton for over 60 years; cherished mother to son Michael and Judy Nettleton of Toronto, daughter Dawn and Donald Glennie of Niagara Falls and daughter Jennifer Nettleton of Hamilton, as well as their special "sister" Kathrin Brock of Erding; and proud grandmother to Carolyn, Malcolm, Lindsay, Gregory, Matthew, Brian, Theresa and Erin.

She was predeceased by her loving parents Sadie and Osmond Fenwick Adams and infant granddaughter Robyn Nettleton. In addition to raising and equipping her own spirited family Audrey was a registered nurse, sharing her skills with camping ministries at Ryde Lake CGIT Camp, Dorothy Lake Camp and Glen Mhor Camp, as well as the neighbourhood around Armour Heights. Church and community were the centre of her entire life and she served tirelessly with the Women's Missionary Society, Victoria Women's Association, Nursing Sisters Association of Canada, the Canadian Sunshine Club and other initiatives of focus to women in the community.

She also experienced great joy in seeding her passion for music amongst her family. Audrey is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 3 p.m. through 7 p.m. Funeral to take place at Armour Heights Presbyterian Church at 105 Wilson Avenue, Toronto on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 11 a.m., with reception to follow in the church hall. Interment following the reception.

We thank all of Audrey's caregivers, with special thanks to the exceptional care teams in Oncology Acute Care and at North York General in Palliative Care at K1 East at Sunnybrook.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Music Fund or the Memorial Fund at Armour Heights Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
