CHRISTIE, Eileen (nee PYLE) - Peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the age of 95.
Wife to the late Bill, mother of Cally (the late Don) and Nancy (Rob).
Nana to Karie and Christy.
Eileen was the daughter of Bernie and Jessie Pyle, sister to June, aunt to Harold, Lynda (Clark) and Debbie (Howard).
Eileen was an active, committed Christian.
She provided lay leadership at Islington United Church, Etobicoke.
As well, she volunteered for many health-related agencies including the Arthritis Society.
Mom received the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for the establishment of the Widow's Support Group in Etobicoke. She also hosted a speaker series on mental health.

A celebration of life will be held at Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Road, Etobicoke on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1 p.m.
