Jankowski StanJANKOWSKI, Stan  -  It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Stan on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, surrounded by his three daughters, following complications from surgery, at the Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga. He was predeceased by his loving wife Lottie (2009).

Stan was a father and best friend to Merrilee (John), Rose and Jo.

He was an amazing and devoted Papa to his grandchildren Mike (Kailee), Tia, Zak (Jasmine), Luke, Katherine, Adam, Emma (Trevor), Gordie and Alec (Cedie).

Great-grandfather to Chloe, Aidan, Walter, Mason, Lily, Zak Jr., Jack and a baby on the way in October.

Stan was an uncle and great-uncle to nieces and nephews.

Dad was an avid fisherman, who made his final cast in his 88th year.

He was always up for a good caper, whether it was a quick trip across the border for lunch at Olive Garden, or a bus trip to Casino Niagara, a trip up to Norwood to see the great-grandchildren or fishing on his boat.

Stan was known for his great sense of humour and quick wit, right to the end. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment at a later date.
