LACOSTE, Agathe Lacoste  –   It is with great sadness we share the passing of our dear mother, Agathe Lacoste (née McGuire), peacefully on September 23rd, 2018 at the Forest Hill Nursing Home.

Agathe was the beloved wife of the late Ronald G. Lacoste.

Devoted mother of Francine Martin (Rudy), Richard (Micheline) & Gilles (Hope), proud grandmother of Jordanna, Brigitte, Jessica and Mathieu, dear sister of Cecilia, Ruth (all predeceased), Edna, Patsy, Louise and brothers Jimmy, Earl (all predeceased), and Marc.

Agathe was born on December 9th, 1935 and grew up in Hawkesbury, Ontario.

Agathe married the love of her life, Ronald G. Lacoste in 1961. The couple settled in Sudbury in the early 1960's, where they raised their three children; Francine, Richard and Gilles, returning to the Ottawa area after Ronald retired.

A service followed by a reception to celebrate mom’s life will be held at the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 44 Rothesay Drive, Kanata, ON, K2L 2X1 on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Agathe to the Omni Health Care Hope Fund.
