TAYLOR, Alan Brian David - Age 78, passed peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 with family at his side after several periods of ill-health.
Predeceased by his former wives Christine (nee Mingo) and Linda (nee Borek), Alan is survived by his son Mark and wife Dale, daughters Helen, Jennifer and Kimberley, and former wife Jennifer Betts.
Alan was born in Merton (London), England and first settled in the Toronto area after visiting Canada while working for McLaren Racing. After moving to Canada in 1969, Alan had a successful career in Insurance and Real Estate.
Relocating to Vancouver Island in 1990, where he continued his career in Real Estate, Alan then opened Abe's food truck and the popular Valentino's Café in Victoria.
A private family service has been held.
The family thanks Eileen Nesbitt for her dedication to Alan during his final years.
