RAMSEY, Gordon William  -  Died peacefully in his home on October 11th, 2018 at the age of 76. He was born on November 25th, 1941 in Toronto, Ontario.

Gordon is survived by his loving and caring wife of 52 years, Shirley, and their two sons Trevor (Christine) and Kevin (Shannon).

Proud grandfather of Isaac, Gabrielle, Elliott and Maxwell.

From his early days as a rugby player through his years of squash, skiing and golf, he remained active for as long as his body would allow. Gordon was an avid reader and lifelong learner, earning a second BA degree in history later in life. These values and his dedication to his family will never be forgotten.

Gordon is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Ellen, sister Heather Bell, brother John, sister in-law Diane Sinclair, brother in-law Yves Sinclair and brother in-law Gordie Howe. Gordon is survived by his brother Gerald, sisters Margaret Green & Nancy, sister in-law Gail Tustin and brother in-law Dan Tustin.

The family would like to acknowledge the love and support from extended family members, friends, and caregivers, during Gordon’s ordeal over the years and especially within the final few months.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gordon’s memory to the Parkinson Canada foundation.

A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held at McDougall & Brown funeral home, Scarborough Chapel located at 2900 Kingston Road on Thursday, October 18th. Visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm.
