GOOCO, Oscar “Bong” Teodoro Crespo - Born on November 9, 1961, in Santa Ana, Manila, passed away peacefully at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto on October 10, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Riza Icaro, his father, Edilberto B. Gooco, and his sisters Edita, Pilar and Ping-ping (Till).
He will be greatly missed by his many cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
The Gooco family is very grateful for the wonderful and compassionate care provided by the doctors, nurses and caregivers involved, during Bong’s illness – at the Toronto General Hospital and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Bong’s smile and generosity touched the lives of many people.
He was one of a kind and will forever be remembered by his family and friends for his great sense of humor.
Memorial service will be held at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Friday, October 12, 2018, 6:00 pm 9:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held at the St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
