Volpini MaraVOLPINI, Mara Maria Louise - (February 29, 1964 - October 14, 2018) -

Born in Sudbury on February 29th, 1964. Passed away at Carpenter Hospice on October 14th, 2018.

Mara laughed and smiled all the way to Heaven! Cancer took her body, but didn’t have a chance against her heart or her soul!

Mara was Loved and is Mourned deeply by her soulmate Peter Richards of Hamilton.

Predeceased by her Babbo Adler Volpini. Left to mourn are her Mamma Ada Volpini (Barbarini) her 3 sisters Marta (Ferruccio Deni) Patricia (Felix Bazzul) Catia (Joe Williams) and Her Brother Leandro Volpini (Louisette). Mike and Shirley Richards, her loving in-laws.

Mara leaves behind her son, Michael Arnason whom she loved with all of her heart and soul. She will proudly watch over as Mike does great things in the Medical Field.
Her stepson Cooper Richards (Lindsay Moffatt) whom she knew would make it !
Her stepdaughter Jessica Richards-Nolasco (Carlos) whom she had become so proud of as a friend and wonderful Mother.
Her special Granddaughter, Lilyanna. Nonna will always watch over you and your baby sister Aaliyah and brother Matteo.
Carlos, you look after them all. You are a good man.

Mara held all of her nieces and nephews in a special place in her heart and takes that love with her on her journey.

She will always be part of a Southern Ontario Breeze reaching up to Northern Ontario to warm your souls when needed.

Mara was the most kind hearted, passionate, woman, wife, mother, Nonna and friend that any of us could have dreamed of.

If you met her once, you would never forget her. Her accomplishments were many. A Graduate of The University of Western Ontario, Mara came home to Sudbury for a short time, before leaving for Toronto to pursue a career in Human Resources at The Citidel, American Express and then on the Executive Team, Vice President of HR with Livingston International. Mara cherished her relationships with her co-workers and made many long lasting friendships during those years. Mara will be forever missed by her Cosmo.

A Special thanks to Mara’s Hero; Dr.Alejandro Trejo Torres at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic. Heaven holds a special place for men like you. To the rest of Mara’s Medical Team; Dr. Sofia Xziniantis, Dr. Murdie HGH, Dr. Brian Drew HGH, Dr McMillan & Nurses Cathy and Michelle at JCC, Nurses in the MRI Dept. at Juravinski Hospital, Mira our CCAC Nurse. Finally, our Godsend, Dale Massender. You all went that extra mile for Mara, and her family will forever be in your debt.

To the staff & Volunteers at Carpenter Hospice. Your Love for what you do is an inspiration and should be noted by everyone that works in the Health Care World. Day or Night shift, you were all absolutely amazing !
May God Bless you all. And forever keep you safe in the palm of his hands.

When Mara drove away she would always flash the peace sign. It was her way of saying that everything would be alright and I’ll see you again soon.
See you again Mara.
Peace. ✌️❤️

Private Family Services to be held. Donations to the Carpenter Hospice in Mara's name would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted with Bay Gardens funeral home.
