ZAMMIT, Josephine  -  In her 86th year, at the Norfolk General Hospital, after a brief illness, bravely borne, Josephine Zammit (nee Micallef) passed away peacefully on October 16, 2018 surrounded by family.

Loving mother to Joseph, Miriam, Carmen, Sally, and Peter; deeply regretted by her children’s spouses and partners, Patricia, Douglas, Michael, Anthony, and Arlene, 12 grandchildren, their spouses, and 16 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her loving husband Paul, brothers Lele (Rose), Censu (Giovana), sisters Marie, Rose (John), Theresa (Frank) and survived by brothers Joseph (Doris), Chico (Censa), brother-in-law Getgu, sister in-law and close friend Rita (Ernie) and many other relatives and friends. 'Ruhek 'l alla, gismek lit-trab'.

The Zammit Family will receive friends at the Lynett funeral home, Toronto, ON, on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church (3224, Dundas Street West) followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment back in the funeral home reception suite. Cremation has taken place. 

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Norfolk General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
