Stoneburgh BlakeSTONEBURGH, Blake  -  December 5, 1957 - October 18, 2018

Blake lived with a simple goal of being a good man.

Those that loved him know that his intention was realized and will be forever grateful to have been part of his life journey.

His 30-plus years as a restauranteur left hundreds with the memorable experience of Blake's quick wit, sharp sarcasm and incredible charm.

He was co-founder of Stoney's Bread Company.

Friends and co-workers know that he tried to lift people up along the way by giving back and paying it forward. Blake and his wife Lori had the pleasure and honour of sharing a beautiful life together for 22 years.

It is their love and friendship that brought both their greatest fulfillment. As a father, Blake and his sons, Michael and Patrick, had a bond that was inseparable.

Blake always said they saved his life and they in turn say it was he that saved theirs. His absence will ache in the young hearts of his granddaughter, Isabel, and nieces, Kaitlin and Mackenzie.

We ask that you share a fond memory of Blake or a message of support at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Your stories and photos will be used to create a tribute book to capture his spirit. Our goal is to find joy, laughter and peace in our celebration of this wonderful man. You are all very much a part of helping us do that.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Wellspring for the support they provide to patients and families impacted by cancer: wellspring.ca.

A private ceremony will be planned in the coming months with a small group of family, friends and neighbours that loved him deeply and cared for him exceptionally well.
