Hibrant DougHIBRANT, Douglas Ralph 'Doug' - 59, peacefully passed after a courageous battle with cancer on the morning of Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit at Peterborough Regional Healthcare Centre.

He was born to Emil and Nancy Hibrant on June 1, 1959 in Toronto.

Adoring husband to Patty, loving and proud father to Michael (Carling) and Stephen (Sandra), cherished brother to Richard (Audrey), Gordon and Janice (Robert).

Doug will also be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

The compass that directed his life was his love for his family and His Heavenly Father. Doug loved life fully, focussing his kindness, boundless energy, servant’s heart, compassion and industrious nature on his family, friends and community. We will miss him.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Team (14A) for their compassionate, professional care.

Phil 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, Orangeville on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Compass Community Church, 246289 Hockley Rd., Mono, on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Reception at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, Orangeville.
