DUANE, Dr. Vera Solowska - On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Dr. Vera Solowska Duane, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully in her 95th year.
She was born in Tarnapol, Poland in 1924, and immigrated to Canada in 1935, settling in Toronto.
Special thanks to Dr. Chris Keefer and Dr. Sheldon Katz for their outstanding care and support, and to the wonderful staff and friends at Weston Gardens.
She will be remembered as giving all of herself but asking for nothing in return.
On November 16th, visitation is at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd., from 10-11 a.m., followed by a memorial service in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
