JAKLIC, LYDIA (nee ZUPANCIC) - September 24, 1926 - November 12, 2018
Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lydia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the age of 92.
She now joins her beloved husband Joseph Jaklic (2010).
Loving and devoted mother of Mark (Marianne), Josie (Henry), Ginny (Steve), Kathy (Peter) and Peter (Kirsten).
Stara Mama is the cherished grandmother of Oliver, Sebastian; Andrew, Amanda, Mark; Frances, Joseph, Paul, Noelle (Nicholas), John, Teresa, Raphaela; Christopher, Michael, Nicholas, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Thomas; Simon, Grace, Elise, Gabriel; and great-grandmother of James, Isabelle and Sophie.
Lydia will also be fondly remembered and missed by her many nieces and nephews and other family and friends in Canada, Slovenia and the U.S. We are immensely grateful to God Who blessed us with such a beautiful and faith-filled mother.
The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home, Mississauga on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 4 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 739 Browns Ln., at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow.
