Celsie SheilaCELSIE, Sheila Edith  -  It is with deep sadness and heartbreak that the family of Sheila Edith Celsie announces her peaceful passing on Monday, November 12, 2018 with family by her side.

Daughter of Earl and Velma Elliott, Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 44 years, Gary, and by her children Meghan and Melissa (Tristan), and survived by brothers Colin (Susan), Garry, Brian (Muriel), and Glenn (Nicole).

Sheila was a remarkable soul, bursting with life, love and thoughtfulness. She cherished spending time with family and friends and loved to learn. She was an avid gardener and active board member and director of programming at the Richmond Hill Horticultural Society. Sheila was a proud registered nurse for almost five decades including 37 years at North York General Hospital.

To honour and pay tribute to Sheila, she would find joy in friends and family planting native and pollinator friendly flowers.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 19th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm, and Tuesday, November 20th from 1-2pm followed by a service at 2pm all at Marshall funeral home in Richmond Hill.

Donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
