Guerrico IsabellaGUERRICO, Isabella - (September 21, 1997 – November 15, 2018) -

Our beloved Isabella died in a tragic accident on November 15, 2018 in Montreal, where she was in her fourth and final year at McGill.

She leaves behind her loving parents, Chloe Short and Joaquin Guerrico and her dear sister Sophie.

Also left to mourn are her Abuela— Encarnacion Ochoa de Retana and her grandparents Hilary and David Short.

She also leaves behind many cousins, aunts and uncles living in Canada, the UK and Spain.

Predeceased by her Abuelo— Nicolas Guerrico— and her godmother Joyce Bailey. She will be sadly missed by her many close friends and her cockapoo Gus.

Isabella was loved by all who encountered her in her all too short journey through life. Her vivacious spirit, exuberant personality, and loving nature endeared her to her family, and her many friends from school and University. Isabella loved music, whether listening, studying, playing her cello or singing. She was a lover of learning and knowledge.

She became a passionate advocate for social justice and women’s studies while at McGill. She was planning to live and work in Spain following her graduation where she would further advance her knowledge of the Spanish language and spend more time with her beloved Spanish family. Her life was sadly cut short before her dream could be realized.

Isabella will forever remain in the hearts and minds of those who had the privilege to know her.

Visitation at Thompson funeral home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, Ontario on November 24th from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service there at 2:00 p.m.  Reception to follow.
