PEARSON, Charles Paul - Our hearts and our heads can't understand how the World's Greatest Dad and Friend is gone, he declined the "Universe" title due to all the attention and ceremonial duties.
Missing him the most are Suzanne, Dan, Todd, Jan, along with Peter, Suzanne V., Louis and of course Max and Barks.
Ever generous and thoughtful, one of Dad's closest friends describes him as an incredible person with depth of character, kindness and wisdom.
To which we would add, how much he made us all smile and laugh. His accomplishments at Ogilvy & Mather, Straiton Pearson Martin & Holman, Saatchi & Saatchi and Toyota are too numerous to name, but did earn him the moniker Yoda (NB. for his brilliance, not his age).
To honour Dad, please consider one or all of the following… donate your time or money to a local charity; be a mentor to someone you believe in; choose a signature karaoke song and sing your heart out (Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World" is taken); always end your calls with "love you" and never… ever… say no to pie and ice cream.
A service will be held at La Maquette, 111 King St. E., Toronto, on Thursday, November 22nd at 11 a.m.
