Fadakis RinaFADAKIS, Katerina 'Rina' - Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 45 on November 16, 2018 after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving and adoring Mommy Helen, her beloved Aunt Athy, her cherished sister Anna (Tom), and her adored family members.

Regardless of her state, Katerina always managed to find a way to make her friends and family laugh. Katerina had a razor sharp wit, and her unique sense of sarcasm never failed to get her loving family howling with laughter.

Katerina’s Mom Helen held her hand through this entire hardship, literally and figuratively. Katerina would lovingly refer to Helen as her “superfan”, often bringing Katerina her anything her heart desired. Helen never left her side, she held her baby girl’s hand up until the moment she took her last breath.

Katerina and her charming sense of humour will be dearly missed by all of her friends and family.

A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Tuesday November 20th from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service, will be held on Wednesday, November 21st at 1:30 PM in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Dr, East York with an internment to follow at Scarborough. A reception will be held following the internment at Flipper’s Fish house, 2300 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough.

Donations to Sunnybrook Hospital on Katerina's behalf would be appreciated by the family.
