ALEXANDER, Madge - Passed away peacefully at the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home, Picton, on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, Madge Alexander, at the age of 94.
Born in Melville, SK, Madge joined the RCAF WDs where in 1944 she met and married her loving husband of 74 years Laurance Alexander.
Dear mother of the late Lloyd Alexander (1991).
Survived by her daughter-in-law Barbara Alexander-Higgs and her grandchildren Britt, Joel (Joanne) and Sarah (Jason Hunter) and 5 great-granddaughters. Madge was a proud past President of the Southern Ontario Ladies Curling Association.
The family would like to thank the staff at H.J. McFarland Home for their care and kindness over the past 8 years.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service of visitation. Interment will take place at a later date at the National Military Cemetery - Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa.
Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
