CALDER, Dorothy "Ruth"   - Passed away peacefully at Bendale Acres in Scarborough, Ontario, on November 16, 2018, at the age of 88.

Loving wife of the late George Calder.

Born in Shawville, Quebec, daughter of the late John and Alma Horner (Elliott).

She will be greatly missed by her children Jill, Bruce, Sandra (Joe Tavares) and Jennifer (Kia Rainbow), as well as her grandchildren Colin and Raquel Tavares.

Ruth is survived by her siblings Eleanor (late Ronnie McGuire), Grace (late Wayne Wilson) and Nancy (Richard Huntley) and predeceased by Joyce Dods, Keith Horner (Vera) and Helen Horner.

She will be fondly remembered by George's family, Cathie (Maurice Wilson), David (Judy Calder) and Margaret (Ray Cowan).

A special thank you to all of the staff at Bendale Acres for your care and compassion given to our mother.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Ogden Funeral Home, Scarborough, on Saturday, December 8th, between 2 and 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, in support of her eldest daughter Jill, would be gratefully appreciated.
