Vivian VernaVIVIAN, Verna Isabell (nee GARRISON)  - June 30, 1920 – December 1, 2018

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Verna, at the age of 98, in Brampton, Ontario.

Loving wife of the late Gordon T. Vivian (owners of Vivian's Sporting Goods).

Beloved mother of Beverly Lunney (the late Don), Richard Vivian (the late Bonnie), Douglas Vivian (Barbara),

Proud grandmother (Nan) of Brent (Sharon), Laurie (Ken), Daryl (Sally), Jane (Tibor), Jennifer (Adam), Christopher, caring great-grandmother of Alex, Evan, Blane, Paige, Dale, Max, Grace, Claire, Flynn (Marshall), Brodie and Jordie (Liam).

Mom lived a full and happy life working side-by-side with her husband running Huttonville Park then later as founding member of four stores - Vivian's Sports, Hobbies, Cycle and Toys and postmaster at her Brampton Mall store.

We are very grateful for the compassionate care and treatment provided by her helpers Violet and Carlene.

Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home – Brampton Chapel, 289 Main Street North, on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. for a visitation. A chapel service will follow. Private burial will take place at a later time.
