OREJANA, Socorro - (May 18, 1953 – December 4, 2018) -
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Socorro Orejana on Tuesday December 4, 2018.
Loving and devoted wife to husband Alex, and devoted mother to cherished Krista. Wonderful mother in law to Derek, sister and sister in law, aunt, and a friend to countless of people, a good Christian woman.
She battled cancer bravely for 7 years and showed incredible courage and determination. Throughout it all she never waivered on her faith who sustained her and gave her strength and fortitude. Ever so loving and giving, always mindful of the needs of others.
She touched the lives of so many with her caring and compassionate ways. Despite her own health struggles, she still found the time to offer encouragement to others. Socorro will be fondly remembered by family and friends with that radiant and happy smile, a beautiful and happy person who radiated warmth, a remarkable person with the biggest heart.
The world is a much better place because of you. We sadly miss you. You will always live in our hearts and memory. Rest in peace our dearest Socorro.
Public visitation at Andrews funeral home, Bramalea Chapel, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton on December 9th from 3 - 9pm. Novena Service will be held there from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, 300 Balmoral Ave., Brampton on December 10th at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Mississauga at 11:30 a.m.
