ROBERTSON, Joan (nee MONAGHAN) - 1931 - 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joan, on November 28, 2018, at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of 52 years to the late John Edward Robertson.
Devoted and loving mother of six children, John G. (Susan), Paul (Diane), Bruce, Mark (Sandra), Lyse Ann (Chris), Brenda (Daniel).
Grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, Amanda, Jenna, Jessica, Rebekah, Aaron, Elisabeth, Christopher, Katherine, Nicholas, Emilie, Nathaniel, Chloe and Logan.
Dear sister to Anita (Pat), Claire (Gordon), Michael (Louise) and the late Tom (Denise).
Sister-in-law to Craig (Marilyn), Brian (Margaret), Gary (Anne), Rosemary (Ed) and predeceased Marlyne (late Bob).
Godmother to Sharon, Patrick, Craig and sorrowly missed Lisa Labossière.
Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Graduate of Les Ursulines de Québec.
Dedicated volunteer with CASA and CIM. Respected for her work in the electoral field and the Banque Canadienne Impériale du Commerce du Québec (CIBC), where she saved all her pennies to work and ski out west in the Rockies. Joan was also a passionate member of the Twinski Club.
Funeral service to be held at St. Edmund of Canterbury Church, on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. Visitation, one hour prior to service.
