Haller OlgaHALLER, Olga Kathleen - Passed away at home in her 95th year on December 1, 2018.

Born February 12, 1924 to Jean and Jim Wilson (deceased).

Beloved wife of the late John (2000). Mother of Jim Haller (Kathy), Jeannie Haller and Joey Perry (late Grant 1990).

Loving Gaga of Katie Reynolds (Darrin), Angie Hewick (Geoff), Jessica Gutowski (Adam), Kelly Stewart (Brent), Jacquelyne Hunt and Roberta Perry. Great Gaga of Matthew, Jack, Jayme, Ben, Diana, Noah, Sam, and Joey.

Sister of the late Jim Wilson (Audrey) and sister-in-law to Hedy and Steve Haller.

Olga left a teaching career in Pickering to raise her three children. Mom was an avid reader, quilter and bridge player. She was a member of the Quilters Guild in King City, and the King Crafters for many years.

As her eyesight failed she joined Probus, and the CNIB Book Club. To continue with her passion for reading, Mom switched to audio books, and could be found listening to them constantly.

Mom and Dad spent many summers at their cottage on Lake Joseph in Muskoka for over 50 years.

A special thank you to her caregiver John D’Amata for his excellent care and friendship over the past eight years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at La Joie Restaurant at 15570 Yonge St., Aurora, Ontario, on Sunday February 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Spring Interment at Foot’s Bay Cemetery, Muskoka.

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted with Thompson funeral home, Aurora.
