PATAKI, Béla (BILL) - 85 years of age, died peacefully in his sleep at Kipling Acres Long Term Care Residence in Toronto on December 1, 2018.
Béla was born in Hungary in 1933 and was the youngest of 4 children.
He remained in Hungary until his escape in 1956 during the revolution there.
Béla immigrated to Canada in 1958 and married Mary Cook in 1960.
They had two children, Susan and Steven.
Later in life Béla was married again to Suzanne Foote. Béla is survived by Suzanne, Mary, Steven and Conni, son-in-law Kent Frame, granddaughters Marlo and Emma Frame, nephew Leslie Pataki and family in Hungary, France and the Netherlands. Special thanks to his caregivers at Kipling Acres.
They are tireless, dedicated, caring and wonderful nurses, caregivers and support staff.
Special thanks to family friend Jay Poot who kept a close watch over him and is a wonderful volunteer.
