ORR, Luella Marian (nee NEELY)  - With deep sadness the family announces the passing of our beautiful mother and grandmother, Luella Marian Orr, on December 9, 2018, at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 75 years.

Born in Fort William, Ontario, on June 18, 1943 to Douglas and Mary Neely, Luella was predeceased by her parents and her beloved son Michael.

Luella was the adored wife of Winston Glen Orr, QC, for 51 years and was elated to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to their ancestral home in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland in July 2017.

Luella will be forever missed by her daughters Carolyn (Andrew) and Colleen.

Luella was a devoted grandmother to her four grandsons who brought her great joy every time she saw them, Aidan, William, Logan and Carter. Luella was a wonderful sister to George (Joan), Ian (Patricia) and sister-in-law to Pauline (Ronald, deceased) and loving aunt to Larry (Jill), Brian (Janice), Paula (Chuck), Pamela, Tamara (Teddy) and Gregory (Kara).

After earning her RN from McKellar General Hospital in Fort William, Ontario and BNSc from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, Luella acquired her MEd from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario and taught nursing at Seneca College in Toronto and King City for over thirty years, an occupation that she very much enjoyed.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, Etobicoke, on Wednesday, December 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service to be held at Renforth Baptist Church, 627 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Etobicoke, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 13th. Private family interment to be held in the Spring of 2019 in Arthur, Ontario.

Luella cared for many treasured family pets during her lifetime and waged a courageous battle with cancer.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Luella's memory to the Ontario SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society.
