Bottos MarleneBOTTOS, Marlene (Jordens) - November 19, 1943 - December 12, 2018 - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marlene in hospital as a result of complications from an accidental fall some three months ago.

She was surrounded in love by her husband of 51 years Frank, son Adrian, daughter in- law Julie, sister in- law Nadia husband John & niece Lauren.

She will be missed by the apples of her eyes her grandchildren, Colson & Sadie, her brothers Sandro Ferrante & Patrick Ferryn, their families & many relatives and friends around the world.

Predeceased by her father Emile, mother Jeanette and brother Auguste.

Born in Genk, Belgium, she moved at the early age of six with her family to the Belgian Congo, lived in other areas of Africa and Portugal. She was married in Belgium and moved to Canada in 1967. Marlene enjoyed travelling with her husband Frank on his many international projects & business trips.

She worked for many years in the International Department of the Bank of Montreal. For the past seventeen years, she enjoyed spending winters at her second home in Puerta Vallarta.

We will miss her friendly disposition, her bright blue eyes, her kind words and her love of family. She will be in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the Gardens Community Centre, 22 Belle Terre Way, Swan Lake Village, Markham L6E 2A2.
