Deleo VincentDELEO, Vincent - Was born January 4, 1921, in Siderno, Marina, Calabria, Italy and passed away on December 15, 2018.

Son of Francesco and Maria Deleo. In 1938 he came to Schreiber, Ontario with his mother to join his father who had immigrated in 1903. He started work at the Canadian Pacific Railway with his father.

It is here he met the love of his life, Mary Ferreri from Meriden, Connecticut. They married on July 10, 1948 and were blessed with four children. They lived in Schreiber for five years and then moved to Toronto. It was here they began their new life together.

Vincent was a proud, loving and humble man. He found joy in helping people and his generosity affected the lives of a large community of Italian immigrants new to the country.

His family settled on St. Clair Ave West and began their business, which became Tre Mari Bakery. The bakery was and is a community hub and his example and leadership built a future and legacy for his family.

Vincent is reunited with his son Joseph.

Beloved husband of Mary.

Cherished by his children, Marietta (husband Frank Commisso), Frank (wife Marisa), Roselynn (husband Frank Ruso), late son Joseph (wife AnnaMarie).

Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Michael (wife Anna), Terri, Vince (wife Patsy), Robert (wife Carmelina), Vince (wife Sonia), Marilena (husband Deni Koloper), Louisa (husband Alex Mailis), Rocco (wife Marcia) Enzo (wife Nicole), James (wife Makyla), Franco (husband Mark Savoia), John Paul, Alessandro.

Great grandfather to, Francesco, Santana, Matteo, Vincent, Franco, Giuliano, Adrianna, Francesco, Amaya, Mico, Francesco, Domenico, Stefano, Francesco, Bianca, Thomas, Teah, Violet, Francesco, Isabella, Matteo, Francesco Roman, John
Evelyn, Joseph.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes, Toronto on Monday, December 17th, 2018 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and on Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm. The service will take place at St. Nicholas of Bari Church, 1277 St. Clair Avenue West Toronto on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 at 10:00am.
