Kilpatrick RogerKILPATRICK, Roger Raeburn  -  January 30, 1930 - December 15, 2018

Roger passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 15, 2018, in his 88th year.

He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Born in Greenfield, New Brunswick, Roger is survived by his three children, Catherine Moher (Ken Moher), Kevin Kilpatrick and Lisa Kilpatrick (John Bernard), his four grandchildren, Colin Moher (Ashley Read) and Garrett Moher (Alanna Tassone) and Elliot and Nolan Bernard and great-grandchildren, Patrick and Sadie Moher and his sister-in-law, Susan Kilpatrick and his many nieces and nephews.

 

He was predeceased by his life partner and best friend, Margaret Eva Kilpatrick (nee Parkes) and his brother, Robert Kilpatrick. Roger will be remembered for his brilliant and creative mind, his quick wit and sense of humour, his integrity and his love and dedication to his family.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the care team at Burloak Long Term Care for the tremendous care that they provided and appreciation of our father's sense of humour.

As well, much appreciation is extended to the health care team at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital during the final days of Dad's journey.

A Celebration of Roger's Life will be hosted by the family at Long Branch Baptist Church at 3381 Lake Shore Boulevard West in Etobicoke, Ontario, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
