GILMORE, John Christopher (Kit) - September 5, 1945 – November 26, 2018
Kit passed peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on November 26, 2018.
Dearly loved husband of Barb (nee Kidd) and loving father of Erin (Len) and Sean (Vivian).
Kit was a devoted and proud Grandpa to Braden, Taylor, Poppy and Ozzy. He will be forever missed by his sister Pam, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and his little dog Belle.
Kit is predeceased by his parents Billy, and Clive Gilmore and his brother Blake (Nick).
He will be long remembered as an outdoor and sports enthusiast in his beloved Muskoka, where he revelled in basking in the sun on the dock, football, volleyball, horseshoes, swimming, sailing, canoeing, power boating, fishing, gardening, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and shooting pucks on the cleared ice of Stephens Bay on Lake Muskoka.
A Celebration of Kit's Life will be held at In Memoriam Life Celebration Centre, 633419 Highway 10, Mono, Ontario on January 19, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with Words of Remembrance taking place at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County in memory of Kit.
In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Gilmore Family.
