Revell DorothyREVELL, Dorothy (Peggy)  -  Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Wife of late John (Jack) Revell. Peggy passed away peacefully of natural causes at her home in North York, Ontario. She lived a long, happy and blessed life and brought love, joy and vigor to everything in her life and those around her.

Peggy was born in West Tottenham, North London, England and was the second youngest of 7 children to Eliza (nee Layton) and Henry Walter Mardling.

She met the love of her life, John (Jack) Thomas Revell when Jack, a dashing young Canadian soldier with the Royal Canadian Engineers, was stationed in England. Together they built a happy home in Scarborough, Ontario where they raised their daughter, Sharon and son, David.  Peggy lost her husband much too early when she was widowed at 59 but her relentlessly positive attitude for life, and dedication to the memory of Jack and her family kept her vibrant and young at heart.  She was an inspiration to everyone.  Peggy was a devoted mother to Sharon and David.   Later, being a grandmother was her passion and to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren she was ‘Nan’, someone to whom they turned to their entire lives.

Peggy leaves her daughter Sharon Revell (Bruce Janes), son David Revell (Grace) and Grandchildren Bryan Potter (Natalie), Sean Potter (Ana), Michael Revell and Julia Revell and Great grand-children Mark Jr, Dallas, Kase and Damien.  She is pre-deceased by grandson Mark Potter (Connie).

Her joyful spirit, strength, warmth, and unconditional love will never be forgotten and we will forever honor her memory.

Visitation to Celebrate Her Life will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St. Toronto) on Friday January 11th from 3-5 p.m.
