LEADBEATER, John WM.  - November 16, 1929 - January 5, 2019

Shortly after his 89th birthday and following a brief illness, Dad passed peacefully at Markham-Stouffville Hospital.

Dear husband of Betty (1991).

Loving Dad to Lee, Robert (Jan), Nancy and Richard (Aileen). Proud Grandpa of 10 and Great-Grandpa of 2.

Survived by brother Kenneth and a large extended family. A man of few words, creative and cerebral. Dad enjoyed spirited games of cribbage with family and friends, challenging crosswords and James Patterson novels. He was a proud and intensely private person.

In accordance with Dad's wishes, cremation service and interment were attended by his immediate family.

Those wishing to remember Dad are invited to make a donation to the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto) or your local Children's Hospital.

Our family would like to thank the wonderful Bright Star team - Kim, Feeraha, Abby and Marisol for their in-home support and the medical and nursing staff at MSH especially the Palliative Care Unit for the compassionate care shown to Dad and their support of our family. We love you Dad, Until we meet again.
