TEASDALE, Lorraine (Elizabeth) - Passed peacefully in her sleep on January 8th at Michael Garron Hospital (formerly Toronto East Gen.) after a battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born in Toronto Sept. 2, 1945 and was predeceased by her mother and stepfather Thelma and Wallace Teasdale, as well as her father James Ogilvy Robertson.
She is survived by Vincent McLaughlin, her devoted husband of over 20 years. She will be missed by her aunt Bess, cousins Bill, Janice, Jim, David and Cathy, and many friends.
Lorraine had a passion for travel, collecting blue and white ceramic pottery, and gardening. She was very generous, was known for her quick wit, and her memory will live on in our hearts.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 15th, from 10–11am at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough. Funeral service immediately after from 11–12:30pm, followed by a luncheon reception for friends and family from 12:30–2:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated.
