Rajkumar DevonRAJKUMAR, Devan Dudnauth - December 10, 1967 – January 14, 2019 - On Monday, January 14, 2019, we were saddened by the sudden passing of Devan Dudnauth Rajkumar.

Survived by parents, Leila and Andy Rajkumar, and sister Sarodha (Kalpana).

Devan was a loving uncle to Andrew, Ava, and Malaika. He was a devoted cousin, nephew, and friend to many.

Born in Georgetown, Guyana, Devan came to Canada at the age of 8. Devan studied at the University of Toronto and achieved degrees in Physiology, Commerce, and Computer Science, along with his CFA designation.

He was a lifetime learner and worked in a number of industries, including finance and marketing. Devan was a man that connected deeply with many people and strived to maintain meaningful relationships with those around him.

Devan was a voracious reader, loved the outdoors, and talking with people. He was sports minded and completed the Around the Bay Road Race in Hamilton on good time. He was well versed in a variety of topics and could converse with almost anyone about almost anything.

He was the type of person who lifted you up and wanted you to be your best self – whether it was eating properly, exercising, or simply being present in the moment, Devan wanted those around him to live full, connected lives.

We grieve his passing that was just too soon, and carry with us the life lessons he imparted – “Be the Change you Wish to See in the World” (Gandhi).

Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Friday, January 18th, 2019 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm and on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 from 9:30am - 11:30am. The service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 at 9:30am.
