McCORMICK, Ian Douglas  -  April 5, 1943 - January 10, 2019

It is with sadness that the family of Ian McCormick announces his passing on January 10, 2019, at the age of 75.

Ian passed away peacefully at Belmont House in Toronto after a long battle with PSP.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cathie (nee Sparks), his children Heather (Cory), Lesley (Kirby) and Stephen (Kimberly) and his four grandchildren, Hannah, Hudson, Bailey-Mae and Helena.

The McCormick family would like to thank the staff at Belmont House, as well as Ian's personal caregivers for the wonderful care and support they provided.

Ian will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, as a history buff who loved to read and as an avid tennis player.

He will also be remembered for his many contributions to the community through his volunteer work.

Friends and family will be received at Leaside Presbyterian Church, 670 Eglinton Ave. E. in Toronto, on Saturday, January 19th, at 10:30 a.m.

Memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m.

Memorial donations in memory of Ian can be made to Belmont House.
