Salnek EllenSALNEK, Ellen - (1947 - 2019) - Passed away peacefully at home, Monday, January 14th, 2019 surrounded by her supportive family.

Predeceased by her husband Jim (1990).

Loving mother to Jim (Bobbi-Jo Eadie) and Jennifer (Pat Casola). Cherished “Nanny” to James, Sadie, Dilynn, Rylee, Evan, Stella and Gemma.

Forever missed by her big sister and best friend Cathy Graham. Fondly remembered by her many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and many adoring friends.

Ellie's beautiful smile will remain in our hearts. Her laughter, stories and outrageous comments and wit will reside in our memories and will continue to be shared for many years to come.

Ellie's wish moving forwards is to notice the symbol of hearts EVERYWHERE and to realize at that moment she is right there with each and every one. Her soul is continuous.

Visitation at Lynett funeral home, 3299 Dundas St. W., Toronto on January 16th from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory's Catholic Church on January 17th at 11:00 a.m.  Burial to follow.

A special thank you to the Hematology & Oncology departments at St. Michael’s Hospital.

If desired, donations may be made to the Sick Kids Foundation.
