Jespersen GertJESPERSEN, Gert Flemming Pollisgaard - Born September 14th, 1939 in Copenhagen, Denmark, he passed on February 8, 2019 surrounded by those that loved him which would have made him as happy as good cup of hot black coffee on a streetside patio.

Flemming was an engineer, pilot, entrepreneur, world traveler and proud Dane. He filled every room he was in with personality, debate and jokes – some of which were just for him. He livened up the lives of all who knew him. He loved his family dearly as they do him.

He was husband to Elizabeth Jespersen, who filled his life with joy; close brother of Tove Noerby; proud father of Sandy and Susanne Jespersen and Michael and Stephanie Hooker; Father-in-law to Craig McWilliam; beloved grandfather to his little viking Jake Flemming and Kai McWilliam.

A memorial service will be held at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, Toronto on Wednesday, February 13th at 11 a.m.  A reception will follow at the Duke of Kent Pub (2315 Yonge Street), where he met his loving wife Liz 20 years ago.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (www.kidney.ca) would be appreciated.
