LEESON, Irene Emily - December 29, 1921 – February 12, 2019
Unexpectedly passed away at home at age 97.
Beloved wife of the late John F. Leeson.
Loving Mom of Catherine.
Predeceased by her siblings Jean Van Sickle and Robert Miller.
Dear Aunt of Robert Van Stickle (Sharon), Heather St. Peter (Ron), Ken Miller (Joan), and Paul Miller (Donna), and their children and grandchildren.
A former teacher, talented seamstress, voracious reader, creative craftsperson and an avid gardener.
An active member of Victoria Village and recently Jubilee United Church and the V.C.W. Her beautiful floral arrangements graced the sanctuary of both churches.
Funeral will be held at Jubilee United Church (40 Underhill Drive, North York) on Monday, February 18, at 2 p.m. Visitation at 1 p.m. and reception to follow after service. Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jubilee United Church, Sunnybrook Hospital- Ophthalmology Department or Toronto Humane Society.
