PAUL, Joyce Vivienne Paul - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved aunt, sister and friend, Joyce Vivienne Paul. Joyce was called home to God in her 88th year of life. She passed away peacefully on the morning of February 12, 2019.
She will be remembered for being a strong independent woman and for being a nurturing mother-figure to so many.
Joyce was deeply loved and will be truly missed. Joyce is predeceased by her father, Samuel Paul and her dear mother, Ethel Paul (nee D’Abreu); brothers Roland and Bobby and her sister Bernice.
Joyce will continue to be an angel over the precious lives of her dear sister Shirley Sue (nee Paul) and her sister-in-law Myrna Paul.
She will be forever missed by her dear nieces and nephews whom she loved so much: Peter, Edward, Michael, Joylan (m.Jennifer), Corinne (m.Ron), David (m.Marlene), James (m.Rita), Alan (m.Elsa), Dee and Ryan.
Joyce was also deeply cherished by her beloved grand nieces, nephews and god-children: Manuel, Jabriel, Natasha, Jalen, Kalyan, Yanelle, River, Kyle, Dillon, Matthew, Jordan, David, Denise, Deanna, Christopher, Nicholas, Nicole, Andrew and Adrian.
She will be held dear in the hearts of many relatives and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough on February 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The service will take place at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 21 Leith Hill Road, North York on February 23rd at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Vincent de Paul Christian Charities and St. Timothy Catholic Church. Donation envelopes will be available at her visitation and/or at her funeral service.
