D'AMICO, Sebastiana - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sebastiana (Besi) D’Amico (nee Attardi) on March 20, 2019 at the age of 94 at Mackenzie Health Hospital, surrounded by her children.
Predeceased by her devoted husband of 51 years, Concetto D’Amico.
Wonderful mother to Joanne (late Jack) Hansen, Maria (Roger) Dametto and Joseph (Violet) D’Amico.
Loving grandmother to Adam (Lara), Andrea (Anthony), Christina (Mauro), Alex (Emily), Joanna (Michael) and Marisa. Loving great-grandmother to Amelia, Miles, Evelyn and Ethan.
Will be greatly missed by her brother Joe Attardi, and her many nieces and nephews.
Born in Pachino, Sicily she came to Canada in 1953 to start a new life with her young family. She worked tirelessly to create a loving home for her devoted family. 'Canadian Dream'.
Friends may call at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill on Friday, March 22nd, from 2-4 and 6-9 pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 23rd, at 10:30 am in St. Mary Immaculate Church (10295 Yonge Street). Spring burial at a later date.
