Clay JackCLAY, John Robert  -  Affectionately known as 'Jack' passed safely into the arms of his Lord on April 16, 2019.

He leaves his wife, Lois, of almost 69 years, his son Martyn Clay, his daughter Cathy Waters, his granddaughter Victoria married to Tyler Ciappara, his grandson James married to Ashleigh, his great granddaughter Elouise and many many friends and relatives.

Jack, born November 19, 1928, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, On, was born to Cyril and Marjorie Clay who were also longtime residents of Niagara Falls. Jack grew up and graduated from NFCVI. He met his wife, Lois Schultz, also of Niagara Falls at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and they were married on June 17, 1950. Jack worked at Kimberly-Clark and in 1965 he moved his family to Bramalea when Kimberly-Clark moved their operations to Rexdale, Ontario.

Jack was an avid photographer, watercolour artist and fly fisherman. He also enjoyed golf, badminton, curling, following baseball and spent many happy summers at his son's cottage on Chandos Lake.

Jack was a dignified gentleman with a kind and caring spirit. He had a sharp wit and was a master of puns. He was a God-fearing man to whom his family and church meant everything.
Jack will be greatly missed.

His family would like to thank all the staff at Malton Village who so lovingly carried for his every need during his final days on this earth.

Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 'Brampton Chapel' 52 Main Street South, Brampton, ON, on Saturday, April 20th, from 6pm to 9pm. A Second Visitation will be held at Risen Christ Lutheran Church, 4090 Dixie Road, Mississauga, ON, on Monday, April 22nd, from 12pm to 1pm, followed by at Service at 1pm.
