TOLMACHEVA, Valentina - Passed away on May 14, 2019.
The mother of Tatyana and mother-in-law of Vladimir Puryga, grandmother of Anastassiya (Diego) and Alexandr, great-grandmother of Zachary and sister of Yurii Tolmachev will be dearly missed by her family and everyone she touched with her warmth and kindness in her 93 years of age.
Born in Tambov to Petr and Larisa Tolmacheva, she moved to Kazakhstan to look after her two grandchildren along with her mother, Larisa.
She dedicated herself to taking care of her grandchildren, taking them to various activities and cooking tasty meals for her daughter and son-in-law and entertaining various family members and friends.
In 2005, she followed her daughter and her family to Canada and made it her new home. A strong person, she is always going to be an example to follow and an inspiration to her loved ones. She enjoyed big family gatherings, long car trips, observing nature and simply appreciating life.
She will be in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Friday, May 17th, 2019 10:00am - 11:00am. The service will take place in the chapel at 11:00am.
