Lawson MaeLAWSON, Mae Violet  -  With family around her, Mae joined her Lord in heaven June 11th, 2019; having just celebrated her 93rd birthday on a beautiful sunny day with her family just over a week before (May 28).

Mourned and dearly loved by her sons Brian, George (Rosa) and Stan (Maureen); her five grandchildren Richard (Subin), Luisa (Jayme), Jacquelyn, Victoria and Charlotte; and her great grand-daughter Anahata, her niece Heather (Jahal) and her sister-in-law Marilyn.

Mae is also remembered by her extended family and many friends.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Charles, and her siblings, Roy, Stanley, Olive and George.

Mae lived a life with deep impact. Her keen drive to work was instilled at a young age and it was her desire to offer her willing, working hands throughout her life. She put her ‘everything’ into anything she did.

Gifted as a Soloist and Pianist, she delighted to offer her gifts in worship and to God’s glory. Her gardens and home were impeccably kept and she was renowned for her hospitality. When Mae hosted an event, no detail was overlooked, and the food had flair, beautiful presentation, and was unmatched in flavour. It was her great delight to share this gift - especially with her family.

A faithful servant of God, she shared her faith and gifts with her church family as well. Her faith was an inspiration and guided her throughout her whole life journey.

We are so grateful for the compassionate and professional care given to Mae in her last months, by Southlake Regional Hospital staff and volunteers; and attentive, caring staff providing Community Care Access (CCAC) home services.

To honour Mae, and in lieu of flowers please share a gift with: King Bible Church or Our Daily Bread Ministry, Canada.

Visitation will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St, Toronto) on Monday, June 17th, from 5-8 pm. A funeral service to honour Mae and remember her life will be held in her church – King Bible Church (1555 King Rd, King City) on Tuesday, June 18th, at 11am. Fellowship and graveside service to follow
