CORTESE, Giuseppe - With sadness we announce the passing of Giuseppe on June 14, 2019 at the age of 86.
Beloved husband to Maria and cherished father of Isabella (Joe Montana). Proud nonno of Michael and Sabrina.
He will be missed by his surviving sister Elizabeth Santoro and is predeceased by his siblings Frank, Nicola, and Caterina. Giuseppe will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held in Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St.), Toronto on Tuesday June 18 from 2-4, 6-9 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church (1037 Bloor St., east of Dufferin St.) on Wednesday, June 19th at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W.)
In memory of Giuseppe, donations may be made to either the Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation or Parkinson’s Canada.
