Wakelin ElaineWAKELIN, Elaine Anne - (1943 - 2019)- Elaine Anne Wakelin died gently in her sleep on June 17, 2019 in Inglewood, Ontario.

Elaine was born in Terra Cotta to Ernest and Kathleen Sinfield, she was the youngest of 5 daughters.

Elaine was a nature lover and avid gardener.  Elaine lived in her perfect little bungalow for over 45 years, she put her unique stamp on the property and hosted many unforgettable parties and family reunions.

Elaine always saw the positive in any situation. Her courage and energy were an inspiration to all that knew her.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Victor Heaney. She is survived by her two daughters; Anne (Don) and Jacqueline (Des) and 4 sisters; Joyce, Helen, Betty and Nancy.

Elaine will be sadly missed by her two grandchildren; Franqui and Trent. Elaine loved and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews.  Elaine had many close friends who were with her during the good times and not so good times.  Elaine will live in their hearts forever.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Elaine’s best friend, Beverley Randle for her unwavering support and compassion to Elaine during her illness.

Elaine’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 21st at 2pm at the Cheltenham Baptist Church, 14520 Creditview Rd, Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the ALS Society of Canada or to Bethell Hospice. Arrangements entrusted with MacIntyre funeral home, Erin.
